Born in Catanzaro (1962-Italy) where he lives and works, Claudio Parentela is a painter, digital painter, photographer, cartoonist, collagist, textile artist, illustrator, and freelance journalist. Parentela collaborates with many international art literary magazines including NY Arts Magazine, Turntable, and Blue Light Magazine. In 1999 his work was included in the Break 21 Festival in Slovenia. Since then, Parental has been a part of the contemporary art scene, exhibiting in gallery exhibitions including Tablula Rosa (Barcelona), Galerie Slaphanger (Amsterdam), La Casa di Tolleranza (Milan), Forte Prenestino (Rome), and Diesel Gallery (New York).
