“Making art is the best means for which i can tell a story.
Having never been born with the gift of gab, my general exploration into the world has been one of passive observation from a distance.
Art making has given me the ability to turn passive observation into a vibrant assertive experience with a clear, loud voice and endless to say.
In my practice I make visual choices with a wide array of materials that in turn consolidate complexities from my day to day. Like language, symphonies of memory and reverie coalesce with classical technique and timeless craft, bringing a physical three dimensional soliloquy into the world.
I find it immensely exciting lobbing observational oddities from the outer reaches of the stratosphere into the densely populated depths of my own obscurity.”
