“These shaped wall objects and collage are part of a new exploration in my work. There are so many stories told by fragments of worn fabric, tattered thread, and stitching. Disassembling beautiful old pieces of quilts and patchwork provides me with an exciting opportunity to investigate what these pieces were and what they may become as I incorporate them into my work. I am primarily a painter but sometimes cross the lane into more dimensional pieces.”
